Located in a privileged spot, in the high area of the hamlet of Chirche, this viewpoint is a natural vantage point that allows visitors to discover a wide and surprising landscape of the western region of Tenerife. The panoramic views of Chirche and Aripe, as well as of the upper part of the municipality of Guía de Isora and its coastline, are at the feet of the visitor, who discovers a place of extraordinary beauty.
In the shape of an enormous threshing floor, the stone complex bordered by a circular wall places us in the centre of an observatory where during the day we can contemplate exceptional views of the neighbouring island of La Gomera, the different ravines that cross the area and the crater of Pico Viejo. Below this viewpoint there is a restaurant where you can extend your visit and enjoy the panoramic view.
In the afternoon the landscape is a colourful spectacle and at night you can see the sky with great clarity, as if you were in an observatory.
The attraction of the natural landscape and archaeological heritage of this place is confirmed by the fact that the hamlet has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, together with the presence of important archaeological sites, as well as the protection of the upper area of the municipality of Guía de Isora as part of the Corona Forestal Natural Park.
